我觉得陪读妈妈不应该在新加坡工作。
首先，她们来到新加坡的目的是为了陪孩子。 如果她们去工作，她们就会无法一直陪着孩子。有些人会觉得，陪读妈妈来新加坡会需要钱，她们也不必一直陪孩子。如果是这样的话，她们为何不申请工作准证呢？
其次，她们所得到的准证只让她们来新加坡配她们的孩子读书。即使她们所从事的行业是证当的，她们还是违反了法律。 我觉得政府不让她们做工是有一个很简单的原因，因为如果没有准证的陪读妈妈能工作的话，那么有些外国来的非法了劳工为了取消对自己的控状，他们会以陪读妈妈的身份作为借口。
可是把这个陪读妈妈要工作的问题解决一定会是一个很难办到的事。
Should study mamas be allowed to work in Singapore?
NO. =X
Firstly, study mamas come to Singapore with the intention and objective of accompanying their child, as the name literally implies. With a job, they would no longer be able to accompany their child. Some people would argue that study mamas do require money if they were to come to Singapore. If this was the case, then why did they not apply for a work permit, but chose to only ask for a study mama permit?
Secondly, their permit for entry and staying in Singapore states that they are not allowed to work. Therefore, be it "clean" or "dirty" jobs, it is still illegal for study mamas to work in Singapore. I believe the reason for the Singapore Government to not allow them to work is simple. If study mamas were allowed to work, without having to apply for a work permit, then illegal foreign workers would use study mamas as an excuse to protest against charges they would face for working illegally in Singapore.
The route to stopping ALL study mamas from working would be definitely a long one for Singapore [ be it "Clean" or "Dirty" working =X ]

I also believe that study mamas who come here with the intention of "multi tasking" that is work + look after children are just trying to work around the system.
they would clearly know that working is illegal. and that Singapore being kind,nice,green,clean,fine city and everything has allowed them to come with the REASON [ excuse ] that they are accompanying their child. Take a look at other countries, can a parent enter with the reason that their child is studying and be allowed to stay in the country long term? The reason is clear why there are so many study mamas in Singapore, because most likely this is the only country where you can find them =D* lol tt is too chim for chines typing

读了《沉默的橡胶树》后，我同意橡树是一种最痛苦的树。 痛苦是一种非常难受的感觉。 橡树天天被人们割，为了取得它的胶汁。虽然橡树本身缺乏痛觉，可是它们被割后，同样也会留下疤痕。 这一天过一天所累积的疤痕代表了它们一天过一天所受到的伤害。
如果我们把人类作为橡树的代替。我们肯定不会天天从他们身上同样地取出血的。因为我们都知道天天从一个人取出他的血，又没有得到他的同意是非常缺德的一件事。 因为这是一个很缺德的行为因为那个人的血是为自己的生存而制造的，他可不是为了别人的需要而制造的。
In the article, the author calls the rubber tree a tree of extreme pain. do you agree? why?after the reading the article i agree that the rubber tree is one that has went through great amount of pain. Pain is a feeling that no one ever wants to experience. The rubber tree is cut daily by Man, to allow its latex to be collected. although trees may lack the sense of feeling pain, the rubber tree still has scars left behind on it after everytime latex is collected. the amount of scars on it's body increases as the days go by, amounting to the suffering it has gone through.if a man was to be the replacement of a rubber tree, no one would collect it's blood daily, as we know that such action is one of no morales. The action of not asking for one's concern before taking what he produced without the intention of sharing or giving to others to fufil their needs makes the collection of rubber latex one of irrespect to the plant, and of no morales.* wa super late ah. as usual the question. may nt b the real meaning. but similar -.- ok on to next blog entry then the compo. i am so dying doin chinese -.-

我同意他说的这句话。这句话的确是有一点矛盾，一个人怎么能同时喜欢又怕一可东西呢？ 可是这确实是一个事实。因为大家都要长大，可是却则不得童年时所做的一侧，放不下这些美好的回忆。
我们是有理由怕做大人，因为他们的责任很多。社会对大人的要求也很高,因为他不但得为国家付出贡献，也得做年轻人的版样。 他们也得为自己的家人付出,在经济上和精神上给他们支持。这些付出都给他们有很大的压力。这可不是我还怕做大人的唯一原因。当了大人也得有非常成熟的思想和态度。没有了这些，一个人多么要做大人，也是会无法应付他们繁忙的生活里的要求。
当然每个年轻人都会要做大人了。因为大人可以为自己做决定。有了这样的自由后，又加上一份稳定的职业，我们一定能够满足自己___物需求[materialistic wants]。这可当然是一个很天真的想法！哈做大人后，不必一直被父母空集也可能是一些人要快点成长的原因了。
我不想做大人也是因为我很怕商业环境里的竞争力。
只可惜做大人的选侧可不是我们自己做的，恐怕我们只能曾机会享受“快乐”的童年了。

The ability to make one's own decision added on to a stable job, would equate to our materialistic needs being met. Of course this is naive thinking. Well, being no longer under their parents control anymore, might also be some people's motivation to grow up faster Personally, it is the fear of competitiveness in the working world that make me rethink whether i want to be an adult.However, being an adult is definitely not a choice we can decide upon. Lets just get the most joy out of our "enjoyable" childhood days.* lol that is very bad translation of the passage title.
anw being an adult is nt fearful just because of the stress they face. in such a fast paced society, being an adult does not just require the physical stamina. it also requires plenty of mental stamina. to be able to actually work long hours everydae, sastisfy one's own needs, then sastify one's family's needs is definitely not an easy task =D
ha seriously though. not lookin forward to being an adult? YOU GOT NO CHOICE in this one =P

这个星期有好多的测验啊！
不过，听说我们班又要一起出去玩了！哈，所以我还是很盼望这星期的到来！

我的三月假期
在这一个星期里，我过了这几年里最轻松的假期。因为这次只有华语假期作业。我在假期里也温习了功课。这假期也让我好好地休息，准备应付下一学期更快的教学速度[learning pace?]。
当然这假期也不单单花在读书上。我也和朋友一起出门。在那星期里，我回到了我的中学，观看他们的步操典礼[passing out parade?]。虽然，我知道自己以后还会和他们想见，可是我的确有期待看他们的演出。虽然他们的表演不是很完美，可是他们之前为这演出的准备是几个星期的努力。他们表演使我想起两年前在台上表演的经历，也使我怀念在童子军里渡过的那四年。
可是，我还是得往前步进,面对初级学院生活的挑战。我会在下一学期里好好地保握时机，好好努力！
translationthe march holidaesin this 1 week vacation, i enjoyed my most relaxing holiday. it was the first time that i only had one holiday assignment. of course, i spent sometime on other revision as well. the holidae was also a good time for me to rest in preparation for the quicker learning pace in the second term.the holiday was not solely spent on studies. i also took the opportunity to spend my time with friends. on fridae, i returned to my sec sch to watch my junior's pop. the effort they spent on the performance made me look forward to it, despite its lack of standard =Xhowever, it is now time for me to look forward, and get rdy for the challenges in college life ahead. i shall make good use of the time and opportunities tt are to come =D and work hard =/
